Q: State Article 356 of Indian Constitution ?

Ans: According to Article 356, President's Rule can be imposed on any state of India on the grounds of the failure of the constitutional machinery in state. 

Bhimrao Ambedkar, chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Constitution of India, referred to Article 356 as a dead letter of the Constitution.
